Super Easy Meatloaf

I have to post this meatloaf recipe because I made it last night and everyone loved it!

1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. ketchup
1.5 lbs. ground beef
1/2 c. milk
salt/pepper
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. ginger
medium onion, chopped
3/4 a sleeve Ritz crackers crumbled

Oven to 350. In a loaf pan spread brown sugar across the bottom evenly. Then spread ketchup over sugar evenly. This mix all the rest together well. Form into a loaf and lay on top of ketchup in loaf pan. Bake for 1 hour. Slice and lay on platter and pour sauce made in bottom of pan over meatloaf.

Thanks for your recipe. I printed it for future use. I have NEVER been able to make good meat loaf when it's considered an easy dish to make. Not for me. I'll sure try yours.

This is a wonderful recipe, I use it very often. The only difference in my recipe is to add a small amount of dry mustard to
the sauce, it gives it a bit of a bite. A little bit will do, about an eighth of a teaspoon to start, then taste and add more
if you want to. This recipe is one of my favorites to take to church or school potlucks.

I will try this - getting tired of my same old recipe.

I bookmarked it. Really sounds good. I'm hungry. Been in a Motel for a week. I need some home cooking. Husband is out working on an oilwell. Dirty, filthy, greasy. Yuk! But I insist on being with him. After 64 yrs why not?

I follow the recipe off of the Quaker Oats box. Sometimes I put an envelope of Onion Soup mix in it instead of the onions, salt and green peppers. I also use V-8 juice instead of Tomato juice. I love my meatloaf.
