Here is another brownie recipe to temp your taste buds.
Carmel Brownies 14 oz pkg. light caramels (about 50) 2/3 cup evaporated milk 1 box German Chocolate Cale Mix 3/4 cup butter (melted) 1 cup chopped nuts 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips In a sauce pan combine caramels and 1/3 cup evaporated milk on low heat until melted. Set aside. Combine cake mix, melted butter, 1/3 cup evaporated milk and nuts. Stir by hand until dough holds together. Press half of dough in a buttered 9 X 13 pan. Reserve half of dough for topping. Bake 350 degrees for 6 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle 1 cup of chocolate chips over crust. Spread caramel mixture over chocolate chips. Crumble reserved dough over the caramel layer. Bake at 350 for an additional 15 - 18 minutes. Cool slightly. Refrigerate to set caramel layer. Cut into squares after brownies are cool. Enjoy. |
