Use Google to search for a Pumpkin Soup. Lots of choices when I looked.

I have made pumpkin soup with adding sautéed carrots, garlic and onions, celery, adding cut up sweet potatoes, one white potatoe. I also add cut up Granny Smith apples. Add cut up pumpkin or pure canned pumpkin. I add chicken broth or OSEM chicken powder- which I think is Parve, so no chicken ingredient. I add spices such as salt, cumin, curry. Cook for a couple of hours and purée. When done you can add a spoon of sour cream or Greek yogurt on top of each bowl. We like it.

Nechama117, I like the ingredients in your Pumpkin Soup. Will have to try making it during the winter.
