    I make one simular but you put pie filling over the creamcheese mixture and after its baked you drizzle a frosting over the top. So yummy!

    I use low fat cream cheese, NOT fat free and low fat crescents, but, for me, there is no replacement for real butter. I'd rather use less than substitute.

    That's how I feel about it too. I grew up on "oleo," as we used to call it, but I got hooked on real butter in boot camp and that was it, for me. :)

    We went grocery shopping last night and I picked out cherry pie filling and daughter picked out Key Lime pie filling. I guess I'll put half on one side and half on the other.

    This sounds yummy!!!! Think I'll try it with all the substitutions, except for the butter, of course. Nothing tastes like real butter!!!!

    Mmmm, love Sopapillas but if you don't mind, Imight make an adjustment and top this with some honey. I love fresh sopapillas with honey drizzled over the top. Can't wait to try this!
