Soup Anyone??

This is my favorite and came from my mother-in-law. I am hooked on this one! Boil chicken pieces for chicken stock and chicken. Debone chicken, add to stock. Cut up carrots into small
slices and when they are just about tender, put in some cut up cabbage and add about a cup and half of rice and simmer covered for 10-15mins. The less rice, the soupier.

I make my chicken noodle soup the same way, adding celery & egg noodles in place of rice & cabbage..Good stuff on a cold day! Thanks for the reminder.Cold winds are on the way. I froze 4 big bags of turkey broth too.
