I love repainted machines if they are the classics (66, 99, 15's... probably the 221's too... 127's, etc) there are plenty of those out there to paint...

Use the padded flat rate mailer next time. They are uh... $6 some thing to ship. Weight based priority currently only works to your advantage above 3 pounds. Then it's cheaper than flat rate boxes.

Does your new needle match up with the thread you are using? IE an 80 or 90 weight with the right kind of thread? Double check the packages, it can make a difference.

It's the wrong size 15 bobbin. I'm sure someone has a better explanation than I but the multi holed ones don't fit in a Singer 15, only in Japanese 15's.
