Have I ruined it.....

I had mold on my vintage circa 1930s Singer and sprayed it with Lysol, now the finish is splotchy grey. Can I bring back the finish or do I just move on.

Many many years ago, before strip piecing etc. my mother and I made a quilt top completely from 1"blocks (Cut1 1/2 inch), we cut all the squares individually and sewed them together in 10X10 blocks...

Perhaps it was a wall hanging or intended to be a "look at only" quilt. The maker might not have intended for it to ever be washed but dry cleaned only when needed.
