So do I need to do this even though the centre...

So do I need to do this even though the centre medallion is quilted first? Could I not just commence each radiating quilting line at the border of the medallion and sew out towards the quilt edge?

Latest quilt top finished

This is my latest quilt top pieced and I hope to start quilting it this coming week. It will be my first big quilt on my "new" Bernina 710 and am really looking forward to seeing how the journey...
