Acid Reflux is dangerous. It can cause cancer to your esophagus and that is untreatable. If you have a severe case more then once a month you need to take a acid reducer at least once a week, not an anti acid. I have a prescription for generic acid reducer that I only have to take once every two weeks to control my acid reflux.
