I am all for re-gifting unused, unopened presents or the gag gift fruitcake that makes the rounds of the family for 10 years. What I objected to in my earlier post was my ex-MIL gifting my then DH and I a gift that had been given to him and his 1st wife. That is both tacky and rude IMHO. I knew it had been a gift to them because their wedding info was in the book already.
