I keep a hard plastic chair mat under my chair and part of it under my sewing table. I got industrial strength stick on Velcro. I put a 1/2 inch piece on the left and right underside of my foot pedal. I picked a comfortable spot on the mat for my leg angle, and put the two matching pieces of Velcro there. Press the foot pedal in place and it's going nowhere!!
