I have all my info on thumb drives. Too many HD failures and too much lost info. We keep as little data on the main HD as possible.
As for the J-A numbers, I check that chart every so often and print it out. It's fun to know who actually made your machine.
I just wish I could find out more about the HOTHER machines. All I know is JUKI made mine.
