I've had that sort of thing happen too. I've also posted things for sale, had someone contact me, I promptly reply, then they seem to fall off the face of the Earth. Even a polite follow-up get only a vast amount of nothin'. I'm pretty sure they just loose interest and feel awkward about telling you they don't want your stuff anymore. Personally, I wouldn't have any hard feelings, it'd just be nice to know they've moved on with things so I can focus on other buyers.
