It's aggravating that they didn't come out exactly the same as the "Santa hats". If I ever make this quilt again (eeep... did I just say that out loud?) I will really watch those hourglasses and make sure they are correct.
I was thinking the same thing, including the making it again part. All the other color ways I've seen really have me tempted.
