I toss them in the wash - and then dryer. They always seem to come out cat hair free. Then if I am gifting them, they go right into a plastic bag. I also picked out my washer and dryer specifically for washing quilts, so they work very well doing it.

I'm hauling this year's production to the family reunion in July, and though I keep the quilts in a closet, I know the cats have gotten in there are time or two so all the quilts will get a washing. I wash everything right after it is completed so this will be a second washing for all of them.
