Probably 100 years ago the old people were complaining, "these young kids, they don't even know how to drive a team of oxen."
If you know how to count change back, no math is involved. I hate being handed and bunch of money and have to count it myself to make sure that it's correct. Bank tellers mostly can't even count money back anymore. Sorry but I find that annoying. I'd like to be sure I get the correct amount and not have my $300 counted in twenties as "one, two three, four, five" etc. I'm really sorry that doing things well and nicely has gone out of style. I like the older, more gentile ways. But then I don't have children I'm trying to please.
