I prefer the foot on the Two Spools for piecing over the 201 foot since the fabrics glide under easier without getting messed. The Singer foot has the shorter one side while the Two Spools foot has both prongs the same length (hope that makes sense). I was thinking of moving my Two Spools into the living room, but I still like the look of the 201 in there more.
Monica, I was having the same problem with the singer foot on my 66. So DH took a pair of plyers and raised it up just a little bit. Works so much better.

I always recommend Charlene Phillips' book The Sewing Machine Attachment Handbook. Nice clear pictures, how-to's that make sense... It lives permanently beside my sewing table now. It never seems to make it back to the bookshelf.

    Artistic Sewing Cabinet??
OMG! That one takes the prize. It's the ugliest cabinet that I have seen so far.
I guess beauty really is in the eye of the beholder.

It sort of looks like the one I have for my Brother. I will try silver polish on the bar, see if it cleans it, since it was mentioned. If not, have plenty of toothpaste, lol. Thanks.
this explains the foot i think some place on the site she demos it.
