April-
I do like the idea of a small and a large group, 3 month deadline. I like having the option of doing a small group (which I'd lke to do this time) or a large group or both. I've enjoyed being able to choose which size I'd like. Maybe you could divide into groups of 20, the people could decide how many groups they wanted to do, with the understanding that the deadline, no matter how many groups would be the same. I think the 3 month deadline was the best because it kept people working faster and the end results came faster, I know that being a procrastinator, 4 months seems to be a plenty far off date, yet it was the end of June and I was finishing them up so a shorter period was better.

Actually Rosey this may have been my block, since you couldnt find my fabric I sent you...I never recieved a block from you and I tried to describe the fabric I sent and this sounds like mine that you sent to crafty...ask her if she got ablock that wasnt out of her fabric..I am guessing from description it was mine...and should ahve been sent to me...

Thanks so much Elise for the kind words! She has grown so fast it is amazing. It feels like just yesterday she was playing in the fabric drawers as a baby.
Sorry you will not be playing in 8 but I do understand
I still have several to put together from previous Booms but I'll get there....someday lol
When I first started the Booms it was a 3 month turn around time but people felt it was too short with a larger number of blocks so here are some things I am proposing, please let me know what you think:
1). Do one super large group and however many people sign up is the number of blocks we make and make the turn around period 4 months if it is say 40+.
2). Keep it as it is, small and large groups with a 4 month
3). Keep the small and large groups but change back to 3 month.
I am open to ideas and suggestions but in the end I will do what I think will be best for all of those involved based on previous swaps and member feedback.
You all are awesome and thanks for being a part of my swaps!

I will do it in any manner that you propose. I work full time, but still find the time to get all my blocks out, so it doesn't matter to me what you do. I will also do 2 groups if possible.
Thanks, Marcialee
