http://cosprings.craigslist.org/fuo/3397944501.html last item in the listing. I really really want this treadle but she's smoking crack if she thinks she's going to get 500.00 for it. I sent her an email but she didn't respond. I may send her another one. What would y'all pay? It appears to be a 15 clone. I'm only drawn to it mainly because its German and so am I

That is no 15 clone - it is a very nice machine in nice shape. You might try getting her price down some - depends on how bad you want it - it is a German long bobbin sewing machine.

I thought that was a little odd, as well. Why would the bed be rusted to a fair-thee-well and the decals look new? They look like Chinese imposter decals to me.

I do want it really bad but I know her price is way too high. I finally heard back from her and she's not budging. Said she needs to pay bills and wont take less...so I guess she doesn't need to pay bills that badly because she's already listed it 5 times and nobody's biting.

Oh well. She has my name and number and when she realizes I'm right maybe she will call me. I still have a few items on my wish list and a German treadle is one of them. Figured maybe I could find a good Gritzner but this is the first accessible one I've come across.
