    Hmmm interesting analogy Foxflower!!

That's what happens when I get tired I guess. I'll remind myself that little princesses aren't all they're "cut out" to be and it'll all be good.

Ive got a million toads in the other room. I dont know if the princess will kiss that many toads, so i might be scrappy quilting forever.

I can help you out with that lynnie, just send me the princesses and all send you a bunch of toads. I like the scrappy but I usually always start with the princess first, controlled scrappy I guess. About every 2 years I just make a string quilt out of all the fabrics I have used in the quilts that I have made. The nice thing is I can look at it and say that was in so and so's, that in so and so and the kids even come home and see their fabric and say that was in mine. Kind of comical, but it doesn't use nearly enough of it. I normally just send it to someone that wants strips and pieces.

    That's funny too Lynnie.

Here's a scrappy pattern I made and enjoyed (only I didn't cut into my Madrona Road to do it! They're still princessess in the stash). http://aquilterstable.blogspot.co.uk...-tutorial.html (Don't look SandyZ unless you want a hint of what's coming.)

Hurray! On this gray, gloomy, snowy 'spring' day, it was so nice to find the package in my mailbox from Foxflower. She sent me the nicest little 'several zippered pockets' purse made out of the CUTEST cat fabric, a scarf (more kitty fabric) to wear when I am out in the yard working, a notepad of kitty paper, a nice pen and some chocolate. I plan to use the little bag to keep my small scissors, seam ripper, needles, thread etc. in and it will go in my larger bag when I go to quilt retreat and our regular guild sewing days. Thanks so much Foxflower. I love everything!
