I follow the rule , that if i really like the pattern that I am making for someone else. I cut two quilts at the same time and put Mine away in a baggie with the pattern when i finish the first one , and make mine at a later date. works for Me, especially if it is allready cut out. and the second one goes together much faster. I often use xmas material for mine so I can use it during the holidays. cmaras1234

I have two that I made recently that I actually use on my bed. One summer, one winter. I have a block of the month spread over the extra bed. I have a west of baltimore block of the month at the longarmer now and oh yes I have a puff quilt that's too heavy to use. And I have 3-4 baby quilts waiting for great grands.

I've been quilting for just over a year and have made 4 quilts and given away 4 quilts. The one we are making in class is for me though! I have 2 more I'm getting ready to start which will be used as fundraisers for local music programs!
