How much would a 66 be worth new? I guess $A890 because this one does look new.
    Wow. That is Wow.

Wowee! That's beautiful! Just enough bed decal wear to prove it's more than a pretty face and otherwise in perfect condition! I'm also envious of the 301. It's been on my list for awhile!

A zig-zag attachment. Do you know how that works? You attach it to the machine, and the "fabric" moves back and forth. Does it work? Yes, but only if the fabric is quite substantial or is starched or something. I made a skirt for my baby cradle in 1956, and the fabric was too soft, but it looked cute anyway.
My 301A is installed at the same level as the one in the picture, but I have the extended table, so I can lift that up to change the bobbin without having to lift the machine out of the table.

Very nice, can I ask what you paid for the set up?

WOW! You hit the jackpot! That card table is a find! AND a zigzagger...you did GOOD girl! Wtg!!! I have seen a card table for sale local to me..but it is for the short bed models. I have 2 and they are both long beds.

Ashley there were a couple 301's for sale on Craigslist in St. Louis recently. I had two (LBOW, Beige) but sold one of them. There was a gleaming black 301 for sale recently that I truly wanted but someone beat me to the punch.

If you are willing to drive the 4 hours to pick up a 301 I can keep my eye out for you. Or perhaps we can talk about shipping it. Just let me know. I will also need to know your price point.

I picked up a light green one owner Singer 15-125 yesterday for $30.00. Sometimes the prices here on vintage machines found on CL can be reasonable.
