    My 301A is installed at the same level as the one in the picture, but I have the extended table, so I can lift that up to change the bobbin without having to lift the machine out of the table.

    I think that's a steal! Wish I would find a sweet deal on a 301. I found a FW for $50.00 with a table and all attachments, including a pinking attachment for $50.00. I didn't quibble on the price, but put the machine in my car before writing the check.

    $75 is a fantastic deal. I've seen some insane prices for those card tables.

    I have a 301 a too and i really love it.........it just goes forever......mine has the knee control and i really like that too........the 301a was made in anderson, s.c. Which isnt too far from where i live, but of course no singer plant there anymore........mine is the tan one.........i paid $32.00 for it and the cabinet at a salvation army store......it had a $40 price on it and i asked if he could do better on that price and he said "how about $29.95?" and i said "yes, thank you" and wrote that check asap.......
