Been oiling and greasing this afternoon. Need to clean and shine tomorrow. Needed a new light bulb and two new rubber rings on the bottom of the machine. I still need to fix the latches and today I noticed that the fabric covering on the bottom of the case needs to be replaced as it is completely loose from the case and only partially there.

Can someone explain or refer me to instructions for repairing this? Also, I think it needs a new foot pedal as there seemed to be a slight electrical sensation when I plugged it in and touched the fly wheel. I immediately unplugged and plugged in the foot pedal from my personal Featherweight and the sensation was gone. Any suggestions where to find a foot pedal reasonably? I have no sewing shops locally. Thanks, Ann in TN
WOW!!!!!! Congratulations, I guess that is why I don't have much luck, you have it all, lol.....just kidding, wish I could find a deal close to that one. Love my little FW but would always love to find another one at a great price.

You did great at ten dollars...I just bought one from my repairman for 200.00. It has been totally reworked by him and it is in great shape. Try Ebay for a pedal.

I actually just went into the foot pedal and tightened some wires and am not having the problem any more. Hope that continues.
