Default Add this border or just bind first gift baby quilt

Should I use this border before binding in a bright or just leave off? This is my first quilt to gift anyone so I am second guessing myself a lot. Thank you for reading.

I like the border but either way will be nice!

I would add the border and then bind in the darker. I almost always add a border because I think they are "framed" that way. But your quilt is lovely even without.

I like the border but then again I was the kid who always finished her coloring by outlining everything in black crayon. haha Either way you go, it's a very pretty quilt. I love the colors.

Nice and bright! I'd add the border, but without looks nice too.

I like the border because I think it gives your quilt design a more finished look. Many quilt designs are great borderless, but with this design I like how the border extends the background- and a bright or dark binding will give it that "finished just right" look!

I'm voting with everyone else. I like the border effect. Borders are about stopping the movement and calming the quilt. The pieced one you are showing in the neutral paler colors is just perfect for this quilt.

I, too, think the border adds just the right touch and I love the fabrics you have chosen for it. Please post the final picture. It's a wonderful quilt.

I agree with everyone else; it needs a border.
