Hi girls. Judy the sewer (a member of the board) and I went fabric shopping and to lunch together yesterday. She is so sweet and we had a great time! It rained buckets, but we didn't care. What could be more fun?

I found four fabrics to use in the swap. Three backgrounds and an accent fabric that looks like eyeballs.

Now to get started on those!

I hope you are feeling better letsquilt. The flu in summer isn't fun at all.

How cute! I like his green face. I was working on the first set today myself. It is kind of cute too, but not finished. That is the bad thing about making something up yourself. It seems to take on a life of it's own. LOL!

Oh no! How cute! I hope I get one each of those two. I love the purple.

Here is my set I am working on. Ghosts coming out of the ground for the Halloween spook. The eyes and mouth are embroidered on. Something I made up. Too simple?? It is a 12 1/2" square.

Hello Letsquilt, I will also see how many blocks I can get done before the end of sign ups. I just adore Halloween blocks!

I actually have a couple of block sets prepped and fused down from the last Halloween Block Swap. I just need to work on getting them all sewn down in the proper places. So, fingers crossed, I will be able to get them done and join you all.

These are the 2 sets I will be working on sewing down for the next week.

    And

They are 6 1/2" x 9 1/2". I know, I could have made them bigger. The only thing I can think of is this is what I had left for fabrics from the last Halloween Swap. I started these blocks right after the swap ended last year. Can you tell, lol , I adore Halloween. I'm also going to make a 12 1/2" sq pieced blocks also. So, I'm going for 3 sets a least. I will see how many I can get finished.
