Yours is probably the most appealing (to me) hexie quilt I have ever seen. Love, love LOVE the spiral design. And I would emphasize that spiral with the quilting. Fabulous job!

WOW, What a beautiful interesting hex design. I would stitch in the ditch outlining the color band.

Absolutely gorgeous! I also agree with Tartan's suggestion, wouldn't want to take away from it's own pattern! Wow, what size hexies and how many? I've been addicted to hexies, but finally broke the cycle this past weekend, now I'm addicted to making biscuits for one of those puff/biscuit quilts! Love your quilt, sooo pretty!

Awesome design! I've never seen that one before. To me, it begs for a spiral quilting design, or maybe a circular design.

Beautiful!!! I did swirls in each hexie on mine. The hexies were 1". I loved the motion of the swirls and I think it would look awesome on your quilt.

Thanks so much for all the quilty compliments! You've got me blushing over here!

That's a wonderful link QuiltnNan! I've saved it as I suspect I have more hexagons in me!

I'm definitely going to go with following the swirls to emphasise the pattern. I'm not sure about stitching in the ditch though, as the seam allowances are essentially pressed open! Maybe 1/8" in from the seams?

Tucsonquilter, I'd love to see a picture of your swirls inside the hexies!

I used 1 inch hexies on this one. I've also done a gfg and used 1 1/2" for that, I was amazed at the difference in size! I don't think the swirls would have looked as good in a larger hex as there'd hardly be any swirls! I have no idea how many hexies are in it, but the hexagon calculator I found said it would be about 1800!
