Fabric Galore

Since this quilt is for your granddaughter it will probably be in the laundry frequently. I use my automatic feed dog attachment and then choose a simple design from my sewing machine to sew down the middle of the border. It looks a little fancier than a straight stitch but it is easy to do.

I some times just do a wavy line of quilting or two or three, just to hold the batting in place.
