Welcome back. I remember all the trauma you went through and hope your life is back on an even keel. Glad to hear that you are quilting again--that is good medicine in times of trouble. Can't wait to see your pictures and your quilts.

Welcome back! While your experiences sound much worse than mine, I'm on "hold" with quilting as well caring for my Mother. But I'm keeping in touch through this Board and so enjoying the pictures everyone posts. Hope you have a wonderful time quilting now that you are back. We don't realize it at the time, however, traumas only make us stronger and more determined. Have fun quilting!

So glad you are back and sorry to hear you had some bad trauma in your life. Sewing is my "go to" if I am really stressed and upset. I think sewing just makes the ugly world go away. Keep up the good mojo and looking forward to seeing a picture of your quilt.

I'm so happy that you got your mojo back. The past 2-3 years I have been dealing with medical problems, but since getting my shoulder replaced last May, with a minor glitch in the fall, since Nov. I have started sewing and quilting again, and I couldn't be happier. Needless to say, I was pretty much a witch when I couldn't sew, it was frustrating. I know how you feel and I'm glad you are back in the swing again. Hope your friend in a nursing home is doing well. Glad you found that cat material so you can make another quilt for yourself. Continued happy quilting.

Welcome back. I hope things stay good for you.
I am not doing much sewing, it is hot here and I have a 15 week old kitty, she is a terror. She goes as fast as she can and gets into everything. I do keep her confined when I leave for work and when we sleep. She runs loose in the house in morning and evening. I don't have nuch time to sew so I sew on Sunday. Even with A/C it is warm when pressing and such.
