Virtual Quilting Weekend -- January 13-16, 2017

the first is a 2 1/2 year old UFO completion from Antler Designs, the second photo is an 80 block nautical quilt kit top I started last summer... finished the remaining blocks and assembled the top today, now it's ready for sandwiching. I also pieced my 24 four patch blocks for the Judy's mystery train 16.
QuiltingVagabond, I love your purple project. Rob, great baby quilt...love the layout.

Great quilt tops, Macybaby and jmoore. LOVE that Antler Designs one with the stars dancing across it diagonally. Wow.
Today I got some scrubs hemmed for a nurse friend (thrilling!) and also finished getting this baby quilt quilted. It's the Merry Mayhem New Year's Day Mystery quilt. I did the baby size. Just needs trimming and binding now.

Day 3 and I have gotten only three rows (out of 5) done on Old MacDonald. As we all know the best laid plans, I wasn't able to sew today until 6 pm this evening, so I am lucky to have gotten the third row done. I am determined to get the quilt done this week. I am most anxious to start my Minion quilt. Once Old MacDonald is done, I will post a picture.
So many beautiful quilts and projects being completed - it is fun to see all the work.
I love this penguins - they are adorable!

Have never 'formally' joined the virtual weekend, but I did finish a Pinwheel top and putting the binding on a Jacob's Ladder. Today my goal is to start 9 patching all those 2.5 squares I have, to make a scrappy Irish Chain.

Great projects and progress everyone.
I got side tracked because I am not feeling up to par. Hopefully the sinus prescription will work quickly.
I finished the 'map' of my sewing room. Although, I was looking for some squares of animals and I didn't list them on my map! Lol! Where, oh where, did they go?
I hope to get a backing pieced today for the UFO that I plan to finish for my niece. I also want to make Amy Gibson's week 3 block.
