    Default Hollow Star

Finally was able to take a picture of this. The past couple of weeks have been pretty rainy here in California, so I wasn't able to get outdoors for a photo. Anyway, I am glad this is done. I found it really challenging. The whole thing is Y seams. I bought the pattern at a thrift store and loved it. I figured how hard can it be right? Famous last words. The prints are all Australian Aborginal fabrics. Gifting this to the son of a friend and his new wife as a wedding present. Hope they like it and all my seams hold!

Your quilt is absolutely beautiful! It will make a lovely wedding present that anyone would be happy to have!

I completely understand those 'famous last words'. They have gotten me into my share of trouble and 'learning moments' and a couple of 'design decisions' when those last words turned the air blue.

Great quilt. I've been collecting Australian Aboriginal fabrics and can't figure out how to use them. You've given me an idea.
