Well I got the block done, just took a picture and WOO I put it together wrong. Not the first one today either!!
I will take it apart and redo :hunf:
I seem to be doing this more and more.... really need to find a job before I have no mind left
Pictures taken today did not come out very well, glare from lamp, cloudy and rainy outside. I need to get this done first thing in the am as I have to finish packing tomorrow; class in pm.

Block 7 Old Maid's Puzzle

This block really is not as hard as it appears.
Prepare the four triangle squares, then cut the 2 small squares into 4 triangles, and cut the large square into 2 triangles.
I like to layout my pieces on a scrap piece of batting.

Tip # Don’t forget the diagonal cut of these squares are a true bias, handle carefully and DO NOT press the diagonal edge until stitched to another piece.

Should be Tip # 5 I think
A few more pictures of attaching the small triangles.

Once both triangles have been attached the long bias edges need to be squared. Using a long ruler, mine was 4" x 14" (one of my favorite rulers to use), lay the 45 degree angle against the diagional edge and the straight edge of the ruler on the 1/4 inch mark on the tip of the dark triangle. (clear as mud so far)?
Not a very good picture, hope it helps though.

imjustme,
Jump on in the water is great!! LOL
Pull some fabrics from your stash and start with either number one and/or work on the current one #7.
The more the merrier.

farnsworth, I have posted my limit of pictures for today, and as I will be out of town I will post pictures Mon pm or Tues am for the layouts.
We still have 4 blocks to go, but by posting lay out options next week, you will have time to think about them,:)
Until next week..

I pulled fabric from my stash. I have it washing right now. I guess I am going to go ahead and start with the first block. I don't think I will be able to catch up with yall, but I will post pics as I get them done.
