    Have you thought of perhaps subsituting a different star for January? Like the Friendship star,which is much bigger. Several of us here have changed things around a bit to suit us better. or how about applique? that's how I did my clovers for March. You can be creative to suit your needs.

    Just dropping in to wish everyone a wonderful day from VERY HOT AND SUNNY VARADERO, CUBA...it is just another fantastic day...can't believe that I've been here for over a week already....will be back home on Sunday night - will get started on my May row next week..
    Hope that you are all having fun - don't get to the interent very much here but just wanted to drop in today and say hi since the computer room at the hotel was free....

    don't fret! Once you get January done, the rest go together quickly....January is the worst. Hang in there! There's not a race to the finish!

    Farnsworth, have you tried Rhonda's Boston Block technique to make these blocks? Her tutorial is at http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-38879-1.htm and it works really well. I used it to make mine and they went together really easily.

    Yes, I intend using that method... I made one the normal way and what a picnic... decided to do Rhonda's way for the rest of January's...... thank goodness for Rhonda... !!!
