    I need a step by step 'tute on this. I don't know a thing about what goes into cleaning it all up. Is it expensive? Can you still get parts if it's in rough shape? How do you refinish the cabinet? How "new" will it look in the end? Tell me as much as you can, if you don't mind all my curiosity.

    I think it's cool to restore things. I have a hard time visualizing from the "before" to the "after" largely because I don't know the process and what all goes into it.

    Thanks everyone. I am so excited. I have wanted one for ages and I just could not resist this. Now I just need time to get her all cleaned up and shiny. She hasnt told me her name yet. I guess as I start working on her she will be less shy about it!
