Hard to see it when you are looking for it. Keep it hanging, no one will know unless you tell them. Beautiful job!

Your Mariner's Compass is beautiful! When I received my One Block Wonder back from the lady who hand quilted it , I promptly displayed it on my wall, waiting for all the oohs and aahs from friends. I did get lots of compliments, but one friend pointed out that one of the blades in the design was upside down. I laughed my head off, because I would never have noticed that. Then I remembered that "only God is perfect" and that this philosophy can be found in many religions. So there you have it! I am happy with my quilt too.

Again, would not have noticed it if you hadn't pointed it out.

Dang if I can find it, but then I've only made 4 quilts in my life, and they are embroidered blocks. So just leave it alone, and enjoy.

Quilter's Rule #1: Never, Never point out your mistakes....no one will notice it if you don't show them. I had to really look at this to see what you were talking about.

When we lived in amish country, that would be called the humility piece or block, no matter how perfect one of their quilts seemed, they would intentionally make a mistake!
