Welcome from W.A.
We've had cold nights and fine days,but not much rain.
It would be good if it rained for about a month non-stop.

Céad mile failte from Wicklow, south of Dublin!! Delighted to see some Aussies here, as I'll be moving to Perth in the next few months! Im more into knitting & crocheting really, get a bit over awed by quilting!! Do you know if there are any craft clubs/guilds in Perth?

Hi Deidre Ann Adelaide is a fair way from Perth. I'm sure there would be craft clubs and guilds in Perth Just look in the yellow pages when you arrive.
My Great grandfather is from Donegal and I have been to Wicklow

excellent,mrs b!! Donegal is lovely & wild!!
I find myself asking stupid questions like 'do they have yellow pages in oz'? lol!! My mother-in-law is from port hedland & my husband lived in cairns for 18years, so i suppose it wont take me too long to settle & find clubs/friends!!
