By the way a fat quarter is a piece of fabric 18" x 22" big.

Thanks for the welcome. Indeed Spain won the football and it looks like an exciting final ahead with the Netherlands and Spain. As you can see quilting isn't my only interest.

Muriel, I didnīt watch the football, I could hear my neighbours shouting and someone has managed to find a Vavoosa (sp?) for one of their kids: I felt like strangling him. The cars went round and round the village peeping their horns very loudly and shouting Viva Espaņa LOL

Hi Muriel, from a Kiwi, my Dad was from Paisley and the Borders so do I count as being Scottish? Ha Ha! Welcome!

Of course you do. We claim everyone with any Scottish blood in them. I have been living in England over 5 decades but I still claim to be Scottish
