I guess I have a warped sense of humor too, I think it's funny and I love Sue.

Must say, it has a certain charm - in a Southpark kind of way. Remember the Calvin and Hobbes snowmen? This would be the quilter's version.

That is hilarious! I'm not a sunbonnet sue fan either. I do love Edward Gorey cartoons, and have the Gashly Crumb Tinies scanned for future projects. :-D

Me too re Gorey. I subscribe to the New Yorker, mainly for their cartoons - also loved Chas Adams, God rest his soul

Why are you in hiding? You could add it to your profile page.

I feel sad for Sue - give the girl a break. Hate the quilt. Carole

I saw this quilt at the Penescola Fl quilt show last winter. I took pictures of several of the blocks. I especially liked the block where Sue is stung by the bees. The maker has an amazing imagination.

Oh, I love it! A big yes to the macabre sense of humour. I'm torn between the coffin and the python.........and the 'cannibal cook pot'. Wonderful! Thanks for a great laugh. I'll be saving this one.
