I love the valence. I don't understand what "strip piecing is and the adding paper." Could someone enlighten me? Thanks

Check tutorials..I just did one..the paper is the foundation you work on to keep your fabrics straight and flat

Very nice!
Most of the string projects I have seen are a bit too chaotic for me - I do like what you have done with yours! They are really fun and eye catching!
