roseOfsharon and I chatted on the phone tonight and opened our packages and what a pretty one is at my house. She hand quilted this little Hopscotch pattern from the Little Quilts ladies in Marietta, GA. Don't you love how she balanced the bright hues all around the quilt? And the posies are icing to the cake! I'm going to have to watch this--my GD's are going to ge using this to wrap their dollies that they play with here! Imagine that!

Sharon since I've got my pics already taken I'll send this off too. This is the quilt I made for roseOfsharon. It's the first time I've done trapunto and think the bird's a little overstuffed--ready for Thanksgiving!! I used 2 folded triangles in the upper corners so she canslip a dowel into in and hang it.
Adapted from a quilt by Kathleen Tracy--American Doll Quilts

Smiling, Gladie, you posted! I took a group of pictures to post and will add a couple more too! I just love Gladie's creation by Kathleen Tracy's book entitled American Doll Quilts. The trapunto in the center is so unique and sets off the artistry of the quilt! I just love it and will be hanging it in my bedroom. Gladie also included the most adorable little squares (4x4) that she has pieced together, I will add to it and create a little quilt (maybe to share or maybe just for me!)
Thank you again Gladie and I so enjoyed talking with you and opening our pkgs together! You have been a great partner and friend.

There are some real beauties!
I now have both cuties done for Sept. Need to get them in the mail before I lose them in the "black hole"

Gladies quilt is beautiful. Exquisitely done. Very nice log cabin blocks, too.
