The 30's theme prints I used for the doll quilt were from, of all places, Walmart, before they took the fabric department, as we knew it, out of our store. I think I got them last spring and there was a quilt pattern to go with them. I just got some of the fabrics at that time. Now all we have is fat quarters, a few other quilter's packages and packages of 2 yards of one fabric and 2 of a companion fabric, and things like that. No cutting of fabric, but at least we have this much. The fat quarters are quite good, but not enough of a selection of them as I wished. I guess I need to be thankful for what they still have in the store.
I'm glad that you liked the little quilt Norma. I was getting worried about it. I didn't know if it'd gotten lost and I'd need to make another quilt for you. Thanks so very much for posting the picture of it. I didn't even take a picture of it for myself before I sent it. It is my first time trying a Dresden Plate quilt block. I really like the hand work of applique. I'm working on learning how to use my walking foot for quilting. It gets better as I go along.
