I am looking for a purse pattern to quilt/sew where you sew the main part of the purse (this part stays the same) and then you sew an interchangeable cover(s) (for the front and back). I want a pattern that is a quilted/sewn purse.

This way I can make different purses covers and not have to change the stuff I have inside my purse. Is there such an animal...I mean purse pattern out there?

I just ran across a 'quilt insert' pattern at http://www.studiokatdesigns.com/encore.htm It looks like you can simply move the insert from one purse to another.

I too am looking for a pattern like this, but not the ones from Henrietta's Handbags.

This one has a zippered closure and the shells are attached with loops that go over buttons that are on the main part of the purse.

I have found one from the normal pattern manufacturers but it is smaller and doesn't have the zippered closure.
