My first try at quilting is done :(

Didn't you post this earlier with a what do I do with this mistake type message? If it's the one I remember, I'm glad you took everyone's advice and just evened it out and finished it. Although you see the mistakes, no one else will, especially if you actually use it with something as a centerpiece on top. My first quilt project was quite a disaster, and I still have it. Trust me, compared to the one I did, yours is a masterpiece. Just keep on working and you'll look back on this and laugh. Don't forget to put a picture in your quilt diary on page 1.

It will not be noticeable after it is used and loved. My wedding gown was cut and repaired by moving the line of beads over 1/16 of an inch... yeah... no one knew about it except me and my mother (she made my gown)... 30 years later, I cannot locate that "repair".

I think it is very nice. Sometimes when I have a quilted item that doesn't behave, I spray starch it lightly and pat it done in place...it might take a couple of sprays to get it flat. I've even pressed them with steam to get a little flatter.

One of my first projects was a table runner too and it to came out lopsided. But I have had so many compliments on it. I have it on my coffee table, and every time I get discouraged because a project isnt going right, or I feel like I cant possibly manage that pattern, I look at my table runner and think that is where I was and look at what I can do now!!... Enjoy it its beautiful!!
