    I didn't have time to read all, but jcpenneys have 100% cotton in single sheet. They don't have a lot, your best bet that I have seen is Bed, Bath and Beyond.

    OMGosh I was having the opposite problem. I wanted a set of sheets for my bed and all I could find was singles....lol

    I guess everything depends on where we all live....some states have them, others don't. hmmmm To bad there is no consistency! Then again it might end up being a boring world!

    I used to enjoy traveling to other cities to go shopping. Now they have all the some store as we do here. Boring!!!! Of Course Quilt shops are different, because each have the personality of the shop own, not the lay out that will get the most purchases.

    I was hunting for a queen flat sheet for the same reason. We still sleep in a double bed, but covers, top sheet, blanket, etc, just don't cover once there are two people in the bed. I finally found a sheet at a garage sal in a color that blended with our fitted sheet and pillow cases.
