Thank you, Twilliebee! No longer do you need to shy away from this block! I've made it very easy with my technique! I just had to come up with a way to do it with just a ruler and no PP, no pattern and I didn't care if it matched perfectly or not as long as the overall appearance looked like it matched. h aha. It's just so stress relieving doing it this way and I really love those wonky corners! It's just like that pie that forms its own crust -- this block forms its own wonky corners!

Wonky is good! I did a wonky quilt also "Untitled" by Karen Stone. I think yours is colorful, artistic and interesting looking compared to the perfect pineapple.

Thank you, Sheree, for your nice compliments!! Love Karen Stone's work and bet yours is fantastic. Feel free to post a pic here for others to be inspired if you want! Yes, wonky is great especially in something as time-demanding as a pineapple block! We quilters also need a break from being/doing matchpoint perfect all the time!

Know what you mean about the tediousness of PP!! My technique is easy as anything! I didn't care if it matched or not and was so amazed at how it looked in the end! Sure hope you'll give it a try! You will love it! It was also fun doing the corner treatments up right! Thank you, peabee!!

Yes, we all have a gazillion scraps! Someone has asked already that I do a tute so I'll show 2 ways to do this block. I thought of another way for those who aren't confident with 'eyeballing' it so will be anxious to teach that too! Experienced or inexperienced, I'll show how to do it look lined up but with wonky corners. It's a stress-reliever for sure!

Thanks everyone for your really nice comments! Be on the lookout for my tute!

;-) ;)
Thank you!! I will be watching for it!! :-D
Me too! I am a permanent scrapaholic. :)
