My FREE Featherweight!!

Wow, you are so lucky. I have a black on that I purchased on e-bay, paid around $200 for her. Was disappointed at first, as she had a few scratches, but I got to thinking about it. Someone loved her enough to use her and not just put her in the closet. After doing some polishing up, she is beautiful in my eyes. Her name is "Black Beauty". You did good girl...

What a deal. Wish I could get one like that. I did get mine for $100 though, so figure that was a bargain. The case smelled horrible as it had been a basement for years. Put that out in the sun for a couple weeks and got the smell out of it. The machine worked great after I cleaned and oiled it.

Diana, Hello from Central Ohio. I saw your posting about Featherweight machines. They're good workhorses, aren't they? I saw that you were wanting a 301. I have a good friend who sells Featherweight machines and she may have a 301. If you're interested, please check with Nancy. Her email is [email protected]. Have a great day, Daleen

Wow I wish I could find a FW for free. I have been checking Craigslist and the ones around here are going from $300 to over $500 and I decided that I wasn't going to pay that much for one.
Anyway have fun with your new FW
