I try not to buy too many gadgets, but one I have and now scratch my head wondering why??? The little kaleidoscope viewer thingy that makes one block into many. Only $5.00, but seriously - what was I thinking!

The ruler with 2 inch slots is great for making bias binding.

I bought the same "thing" and found it to be a waste of money.

This has been great to read. You are up early me too finished a great book now off to work but couldn't stop reading all these interesting posts. I use the sort little round "mine is blue" bobbin holder. Simple. One thing use occ but love it when I do, the marked little clothes pin type holders by Fons and Porter the other day had cut squares 2" 2 1/2" and 3 1/2" was great to know which was which quick. Have great day!

I hope you don't have a computerized sewing machine. You could ruin it with that magnetic pin cushion near it. That is the first thing I teach my young sewers, no magnetic pin cushions near my sewing machines. I have a pin pot I use next to the machine and then take them to the pin keeper.

I use a little velcro dot on the side of my machine and one on the ripper.

Stick on dots that are suppose to stop your ruler moving when cutting. They don't stick very well and fall off easy which makes the ruler uneven. Then before you realise you've cut crooked.

Gadgets I have I use. Never purchased too many, but rulers are another story. I have some that will never get used.
