Welcome from NM. It is hard to say exactly how much fabric you need without a pattern. Generally, determine how much fabric you would need without any pattern-queen size probably a minimum of 6 yards and then add more. So a queen size quilt would probably take 8 or 9 yds total. Of course the amount of each fabric used can only be determined by looking at the pattern but to get a ballpark amount and price I do a quick calculation using the above method.

Light green print for background: (4) 3-3/8" x 3-3/8" squares; (9) 3" x 3" squares
Lightest green print: (2) 3-3/4" x 3-3/4" squares
Deepest purple print: (2) 3-3/4" x 3-3/4" squares (for quarter square triangle units)
Purple/multicolor print: (4) 3-3/8" x 3-3/8" squares
Medium paisley print: (4) 3" x 3" squares
