I am 67 but will be 68 on Jan 1 and yes some days I feel like I can do anything but then my body tells me different!!! Just what is the average age??????

From skimming most, not all, of the replies....it looks to me as if 55 or so is the average age. Lots in their 50s. I'm 64 but so far not accepting the Senior Label. Taught Jr. High for years and don't want to grow UP.....or OLD in attitude. Love learning and experiencing new things.

Getting ready to turn 55. I've been wondering if younger people were taking up quilting with all the contemporary fabrics (Amy Butler, Kaffe,etc.) available today.
