It is an odd feeling, isn't it? This free time is my once-a-year couch potato time: I watch mindless Christmas movie re-runs and catch up on some reading. Right after Christmas, I will start on my long quilts to-do list, which involves several WIPs. My favorite machine has just gotten back from the dealer where it had a pricey servicing and a pricey LED light replaced, so it is raring to go also.

I know, I've cleared off my dining room table (put away the sewing machines) and seem a little lost. No grandbabies till tomorrow but I'm ready to sit back and enjoy; if I remember how :)

HA HA I laughed at that. I have not finished but I am done for a couple of days--I am vegging...

Yep, feels strange to me too. Christmas day is not even here and I am done with Christmas. All decorations, tree, etc. packed up. I have been reminding myself all day about Jesus' birth and the "reason for the season". Also, working on a wall hanging and trying to think how I could do something more "for the Lord" next year and trying to reach out to others who are alone this season. Plenty on the "to do" list so that keeps me motivated and wanting to help others. I would help those of you who need it if I could. So, maybe offer earlier next year? Sound like a plan?

Same here. I keep wandering into my quilting room and then back out again. I'm going to start quilting again the day after Christmas.

Eggnog! That's my reward. I can feel it goin' to my butt, though, before I'm through drinking it.

Enjoy the time off. Have a nice holiday and start a new project on Sunday.

I know how you feel. You will adjust. You can always read all on the board.
